Production Worker

Adhue Graphic Resources is a leading supplier of printable plastics, pressure sensitive solutions, packaging films, and material converting which includes slitting and sheeting.  We are committed to providing cost effective solutions for our customers and having one of the largest stock inventories available in the Midwest.

As a Production Worker with Adhue, we are looking for a motivated individual capable of performing a multitude of functions in a fast-paced production environment.  Our workplace requires individuals to have a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
--Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
--Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
--Read work orders to determine correct inventory and quantities to select.
--Measure finished product to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, rulers, etc.
--Examine finished product for defects ensuring all product meets quality specifications.
--Operating machinery which includes but is not limited to, forklifts, roll sheeter, and guillotine cutter.
--Follow all company safety rules
--Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
--May be required to lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the day.
--Other duties as assigned.

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
--High School Graduate or GED.
--Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
--Must be able to work overtime as needed.
--Must have a good attendance record.
--Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
--Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
--Experience operating production equipment
--Experience operating forklifts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
--Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
--Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
--Excellent communication skills.
--Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
--Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
--Strong verbal communication skills.
--Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
